FIRE BAN

Due to the increased risk of fire, a FIRE BAN is in effect for the Summer Village of Birch Cove as of May 19th, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.

No outdoor fires are allowed until further notice, including:

Recreational firepits, open fires, burn barrels, fireworks, chimineas, solid fuel (charcoal, pellets etc.) barbeques
You CAN still use cooking and recreational appliances – such as fire tables, barbeques, smokers and patio heaters – that can be turned on or off using a switch or valve (propane, natural gas or electric)
This fire ban also applies to the use of OHV’s within Birch Cove

Please report any wildfire to 9-1-1 with the exact location to assist fire services in locating and extinguishing these fires.
