Fire Advisory in Effect
Effective 15:00 May 13th, 2025 the current Fire Ban status will be reduced to a Fire Advisory status.
Welcome moisture was received across all portions of the County yesterday. Moderate temperatures, with some scattered showers are expected throughout the next 10 days. Fine Fuel Moisture has increased due to green up conditions.
This reduces hazard in our area in light grassy fuels and mixed treed fuels.
Allowed conditional burning in accordance with monitoring and weather conditions permitting are as follows:
Fire(s) in acceptable fire pits
Wood-fired appliances
Propane powered appliances and pallet smokers
Smudge and or ceremonial fires
Prohibited are:
Fireworks
Any burning activity not defined as allowed
Public are encouraged to use caution with frequent and consistent monitoring and have extinguishing methods on hand for any burning activity.
